Garinim (Early Childhood)

Garinim2015HNT provides a myriad of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, and spiritual growth of children (ages newborn-5) and their parents.

Garinim (Little Seeds)
We are a fun, friendly, and active community of young families who gather for various early childhood family programs. Our events range from holiday and Shabbat celebrations, to play dates, Shabbat dinners, and social events. Our Frankel Religious School also offers a monthly preschool option for families looking to get a head start on their child’s religious education. Contact our Director of Education Eliyahu Krigel at for questions or to visit our beautiful Gan Danny preschool classroom!

Monthly Shabbat Play and Pray
Families meet about once a month during the school year on a Friday night for a themed Simchat Shabbat service and dinner at 6:00 PM. Check back soon for the 2015 – 2016 Simchat Shabbat dates!

Our summer Shabbat dinners are held in members’ homes. Check our calendar page for registration information or email to be put on our weekly email list with event and contact information.

We also meet monthly on Shabbat morning at 10:30 AM for our “Playground Minyan” which includes free play, Shabbat blessings, stories and songs, and an oneg, and is led by our wonderful Kindergarten teacher, Michelle Younker.

Fun Special Events
We offer many different fun and interactive age-appropriate activities for young children. Activities range from a Havdallah-Spice Night to Matzah Baking for Passover to Toddler Yoga to a Pizza Night on Tu B’Shevat. Parents and kids both have a great time getting to know each other and form connections with other parents of young children.
