HNT members, young and old, engage in a wide variety of community service projects. Our Frankel Religious School sees tikkun olam (repairing the world) as one of its core values and regularly partners with the Social Action committee. They participated in the Day of Service, help collect Chanukah gifts for the JFS drive, and participate in Teen Feed.
HNT collects recent magazines for the waiting rooms of Harborview Medical Center. These materials provide a welcome distraction to those spending endless hours in the waiting room. Volunteers are also needed to drop magazines off at Harborview.
Swedish SummeRun & Walk
Since 1993, Swedish SummeRun has raised over $4 million towards ovarian cancer research. Each year, Team HNT gathers to participate in loving memory of HNT members Marsha Rivkin, Babs Fisher and Gail Stulberg. Money raised from the SummeRun helps the Marsha Rivkin Center in its mission to save lives and reduce suffering through improved treatment, early detection, and prevention of ovarian cancer. Gardening at HNT
A group of volunteers get together each month to help beautify the HNT campus by weeding, planting and tending to our gardens. Find their next meeting date on our Calendar.
