DESCRIPTION:Featuring Dr. Einat Wilf Former Member of Knesset\, Labor and Independence Parties \nDr. Einat Wilf\, a Senior Fellow with the Jewish People Policy Institute and the Baye Foundation Adjunct fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy\, was Chair of the Knesset Sub-Committee for Israel and the Jewish People and Member of the influential Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in the 18th Knesset. Previously\, Dr. Wilf served as Foreign Policy Advisor to Vice Prime Minister Shimon Peres. Born and raised in Israel\, she served as an Intelligence Officer in the Israel Defense Forces. Dr. Wilf holds a BA in Government and Fine Arts from Harvard University\, an MBA from INSEAD in France\, and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Wilf is the author of four books that explore key issues in Israeli society. SUMMARY:Congregations for the Homeless Shelter Meal
DESCRIPTION:As a member of Congregations for the Homeless\, which strives to mitigate the pain of homelessness by providing meals and basic needs\, HNT aspires to provide at least one monthly meal for 80 men during the colder months. \nHow you can help: \n\nHelp prepare one or more dishes for the meal on January 30\, captained by Cheri Levy & Sharon Sandler\nThis is a great activity for families\, friends\, your book group\, or chavurah\, and HNT will provide organizational support. It’s all done potluck-style with food you can buy or make at home. You can drop off your food or stay to help serve and talk with the residents. You choose the date that works for your group. Please email ShelterMeals@h-nt.org to volunteer to organize a group of friends to take a meal.
