Please remember that you cannot give blood for 8 weeks (after January 19) leading up to your blood donation.\nSchedule your time slot now at: h-nt.org/save-a-life \nHNT’s Annual Blood Drive honors the memory and last wish of Ellen Yusim z”l\, a teenage congregant whose family was sponsored by our synagogue when they resettled in Seattle from the former Soviet Union. Ellen succumbed to leukemia at age 16 and it was her final request to have an annual blood drive to help others in need of transfusions. \nShe understood how her very life depended on donors and wished that gift to be carried forward in her name. Every day it takes more than 800 donors to meet the transfusion needs of Western Washington. It is easy to perform this mitzvah! Register for your timeslot at h-nt.org/save-a-life
