DESCRIPTION:Tisha B’Av is the commemoration of the destruction of both the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem. Over the centuries\, other\ncatastrophes have befallen the Jewish people on this date and also came to be associated with this day of mourning.\nTisha B’Av services will be held via Zoom https://zoom.us/j/814064429 on \n\nWednesday\, July 29 at 9:00 PM\, with the reading of Lamentations (Eicha).\nThursday\, July 30 at 8:00 AM\, tefillin are not worn. Kinot (mournful poems) will be chanted.\nThursday\, July 30 at 2:00 PM\, tefillin are worn at this time.\n\nJoin us this year for a meaningful and solemn commemoration of these tragedies\, as we go from darkness to light. \nDuring this time when houses of worship in our state are not allowed to join together in person for prayer\, we have moved all of our prayer services to an online format. We form a minyan using two-way voice/video technology\, and conduct the full traditional service\, including an opportunity for people to say Kaddish. \nHow to Connect \n\nYou can join our Virtual Services on any desktop computer\, laptop\, tablet\, or smartphone at https://zoom.us/j/814064429.\n\nIf this is your first time using Zoom\, read through out How To Use Zoom guide. If you run into further problems\, please email Ashley@h-nt.org.\n\n\nYou can use a landline to have an audio-only connection by dialing +1669-900-6833\,\,814064429#\n\nIf you have a lot of background noise\, or are having a side conversation\, please mute yourself so we can limit distractions from the service.
