DESCRIPTION:JFS High Holiday Food Drive & Birthday Party\nSeptember 1 – 27 \nWith food insecurity growing\, Jewish Family Services needs food donations more than ever. Because of COVID-19\, a large Food Sort gathering is not possible. JFS now asks only for specifically requested items for pre-packaged food bags which can be distributed by limited staff and volunteers while taking safety precautions. We will be collecting: \n\nRice\nCanned or dry beans\nCanned vegetables\nTuna\n\nPlease donate only the specific items requested\, and as always\, we cannot accept open packages or expired food. Drop off donations in the bins outside the Lower Foyer earlier in the month\, OR join us for… \n  \nFood Drive-By Birthday Party for Mike Adler & Mindy Landsman\nSunday\, September 27 • 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM  \nHelp celebrate Mike & Mindy’s birthdays by donating the above critically needed items for the JFS Polack Food Bank\, and get a special birthday treat in your trunk. Car decorations\, party hats\, and kazoos encouraged!
