DESCRIPTION:Co-led by Rabbi Samuel Klein and Rabbi Jay Rosenbaum \nMonthly Sunday mornings ● 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Zoom\nCost: $75 per person \nChevraya 2: Learning Together\nMitzrayim and Meitzarim: Inner and Outer Transformation in the Book of Exodus \nIn the Jewish Tradition\, there is an intimate connection between overcoming external oppression (exodus from Egypt/Mitzrayim) and overcoming internal obstacles (Meitzarim/anything which constrains us emotionally\, intellectually\, or spiritually). Covid-19 has imposed on us both external restrictions and an inner feeling of being confined by outer realities. And to achieve a society of racial equity we need both a change of behavior and a transformation of attitudes. \nIn our study of Exodus\, we are going to explore the relationship between tikkun olam/changing the world and tikkun atzmi/changing ourselves.
