We will explore the connection between the difficulty of describing God and the challenge of articulating our own deepest and most moving life experiences.  In the process\, we will learn what Shakespeare and the Rabbis taught us about God’s uncontainability and our own. \nAmong the questions we will explore: \n\nWhy does it matter how we describe God?\nWhat are the human experiences we have that we find difficult to capture in words?\nWhat are the dangers of describing people inadequately\, and what does this have to do with God?\nWhat do great art and music have to teach us about Jewish spirituality?\nWhat is the connection between God and the release of human potential?\n\n
