Join Morah Rachel Yedidia and Morah Michelle Younker for Shabbat for Kids for age appropriate youth Shabbat services and activities. This special program is for all students in pre-gan through 5th grade at HNT. Everyone is welcome. Open to non-members. Bring your extended family for this interactive and age-appropriate Shabbat service. During the morning at HNT\, Morah Michelle will lead a special Tot Shabbat service for our youngest friends in Gan Danny. At the same time in room 4\, Morah Rachel will lead Shabbat programming for the older elementary aged students. Perfect way to put the theory of Shabbat to practice. DESCRIPTION:Youth Lounge\nAll Garinim parents are invited to learn how to make challah with master baker Stefan Ahrensdorf during this time in the youth lounge at HNT. Continue your own learning while your kids are in class. Learn the intricacies and special techniques of challah making in this fun\, experiential workshop. We’ll explore different methods for kneading as well as different braiding techniques. In addition\, we’ll talk about the fundamental concepts of bread making and ingredients. Of course\, the class wouldn’t be complete without sampling fresh baked Challah and sending you home with a loaf to bake off at home. No prior experience is needed but we do need you to let us now if you can make it so we are sure to have enough supplies on hand.
