DESCRIPTION:Monday\, March 9 at the Purim Shpiel\nOne family disaster can lead to loss of home\, due to job loss\, medical bills\, rent increases\, domestic violence\, or other issues. H2R supports families currently in shelters move into housing by providing help with deposits\, move-in costs\, and personal items. To fulfill the special Purim mitzvah of Matanot La’evyonim (gifts for the poor) when you arrive for the Purim Shpiel\, stop by the table in the Upper Foyer where Cheryl Cohen and Janet Gray will tell you more about H2R and are collecting donations.

Ellen succumbed to leukemia at age 16 and it was her final request to have an annual blood drive to help others in need of transfusions. \nShe understood how her very life depended on donors and wished that gift to be carried forward in her name. DESCRIPTION:As a member of Congregations for the Homeless\, which strives to mitigate the pain of homelessness by providing meals and basic needs\, HNT aspires to provide at least two monthly meals for 80 men. \nHerzl-Ner Tamid’s programs are following the Governor’s proclamations by not holding any gatherings that are not urgent.  Towards that effort\, funds have been donated directly to CFH\, who will order food for this meal. \nCFH is still in need of the following items and welcomes donations you can have delivered via Amazon or other online ordering service: \n\nToilet paper\nC-fold paper towels\nHand soap\nHand sanitizer\nPaper plates/bowls/cups\nPlastic utensils\nNon-perishable foods (noodles\, ramen\, rice\, canned food\, soup\, etc.)\nSandwich meat\nPaper bags\nIndividually wrapped soft snacks (fruit cups\, granola bars\, oatmeal.)\nSocks\nTravel sized shampoo and toothpaste
