ROOTS (Rising Out Of The Shadows) is a shelter for young adults\, many of whom have aged out of the foster system. Help us give these kids and young adults clothing to keep them warm this winter: \n\nNew socks\nNew gloves\nNew scarves\nNew or nearly new winter coats\n\nPlease bring donations in your trunk on December 11 or 13 and volunteers will unload and leave a Chanukah treat in your trunk\, or drop off earlier that week in the red bins outside the foyer. Thank you for pre-bagging donations by child vs. adult sizes. \nIf you’d like to make a monetary donation\, please do so by December 1 – designating Social Action Coat Drive – and Janet Gray will shop for you!

It’s all done potluck-style with food you can buy or make at home. Due to COVID-19 meals are currently contactless drop-off only. You choose the date that works for your group.
