(Book Drive)\n….but many kids live in vulnerable housing or where books are not accessible\nFriday\, March 19 • 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Sunday\, March 21 • 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM \nPlease give a new or gently loved (no damage please) book so these children can have reading materials before their spring break. Kindergarten through 5th grade reading levels\, chapter books encouraged! Our goal is to collect 370 books\, one for every child in the school. \nWhen? Drop off at our contactless drive-by at HNT on Friday\, March 19 or Sunday\, March 21\, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM\nHow? Support independent bookstores: \n\nPurchase books at Brick & Mortar Books in Redmond Town Center\, which is donating $150 of books. Mention Leschi Elementary to receive a 20% discount.\nPurchase books from Island Books\, which is also donating $150 of books. Order online\, over the phone at 206-232-6920\, email orders@islandbooks.com\, or shop in store for recommendations. Mention Leschi Elementary to have your books set aside and a volunteer will pick up for you.\nDonate funds here and volunteers will shop for you.\n\nQuestions?
