Acme Food Sales and the Estate of Valerie Polack are generously contributing a matching gift\, pound for pound. \nFood Donations: Give 2\, Provide for 10\nPlease donate at least 2 bags of groceries\, which can mean up to 10 extra meals for a household. Non-perishable items are needed – high quality proteins like peanut butter and tuna\, filling pasta and grains\, and toiletries (which you cannot buy with food stamps) like full-sized shampoo\, conditioner\, toothbrushes\, and diapers (size 3-5). Drop items in the bins in the foyers. No glass or nearing expiration dates please.

DESCRIPTION:As a member of Congregations for the Homeless\, which strives to mitigate the pain of homelessness by providing meals and basic needs\, HNT aspires to provide at least two monthly meals for 80 men. \nHow you can help: \n\nHelp prepare one or more dishes for the meal on November 18\, captained by Sylvia Angel\, Ettie Davis\, Linda Jacobs\, and Faye Plum\nThis is a great activity for families\, friends\, your book group\, or chavurah\, and HNT will provide organizational support. It’s all done potluck-style with food you can buy or make at home. You can drop off your food or stay to help serve and talk with the residents. You choose the date that works for your group. Please email ShelterMeals@h-nt.org to volunteer to organize a group of friends to take a meal.
