DESCRIPTION:We have crafted a new and innovative class and a trip to Los Angeles for teens based on American Jewish celebrity and Jewish identity formation. Due to the huge success of the NYC trip last year\, generously supported by Gwenn and Dean Polik\, we are excited to be offering a five-day trip experience to LA from April 8-12\, 2018. \nThe trip will be connected to the eight monthly specialized classes taught by Dr. Krigel and guest speakers. A light dinner each session is included in the overall tuition. Please contact Dr. Krigel at eliyahu@h-nt.org for more information. Due to the generosity of Gwenn and Dean Polik\, we are able to provide this program to our members for $1\,550 for the 8 sessions (dinner included) plus transportation\, lodging\, and the entire program for the 5-day trip. DESCRIPTION:As a member of Congregations for the Homeless\, which strives to mitigate the pain of homelessness by providing meals and basic needs\, HNT aspires to provide a monthly meal for 80 men during the colder months. \nHow you can help: \n\nRSVP to prepare one or more dishes for the meal on February 8 captained by Barrie & Richard Galanti.\nThis is a great activity for families\, friends\, your book group\, or chavurah\, and HNT will provide organizational support. It’s all done potluck-style with food you can buy or make at home. You can drop off your food or stay to help serve and talk with the residents. You choose the date that works for your group. Please email Rebecca@h-nt.org to volunteer to organize a group of friends to take a meal.
