DESCRIPTION:As a member of Congregations for the Homeless\, which strives to mitigate the pain of homelessness by providing meals and basic needs\, HNT aspires to provide at least one monthly meal for 80 men during the colder months. \nHow you can help: \n\nHelp prepare one or more dishes for the meal on April 1\, captained by Susan Bardsley\, Stephen Price\, and Mindy Landsman\nThis is a great activity for families\, friends\, your book group\, or chavurah\, and HNT will provide organizational support. It’s all done potluck-style with food you can buy or make at home. You can drop off your food or stay to help serve and talk with the residents. You choose the date that works for your group. Please email ShelterMeals@h-nt.org to volunteer to organize a group of friends to take a meal.

DESCRIPTION:9:30 AM Services & Presentation\n12:45 PM Q & A following Kiddush Luncheon \nDr. Sharon Nazarian will discuss how the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) tackles anti-Semitism from the right\, from the left and Islamic anti-Semitism. Learn about the ADL’s new Task Force on Middle East Minorities and vision for their work in international affairs. Dr. Sharon S. Nazarian is Senior Vice President of International Affairs at ADL. Sharon heads ADL’s work fighting anti-Semitism and racial hatred globally\, including ADL’s Israel office. \nPrior to ADL\, Sharon was active in three worlds: academia\, philanthropy and foreign policy. She is the President of the Y&S Nazarian Family Foundation\, with a regional office in Israel named the Ima Foundation. She is also the founder of the Y&S Nazarian Center for Israel Studies at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and Chair of its Advisory Board. \nSharon taught as an adjunct professor at UCLA in the Department of Political Science\, is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations and sits on a myriad of foreign policy boards. She studied at the University of Southern California (USC)\, double majoring in Journalism and International Relations\, and received her Master’s and Ph.D. in Political Science from USC.
