Book Launch: My Soul is Filled with Joy: A Holocaust Story

Karen Treiger, Mercer Island native, launches her first book – My Soul is Filled with Joy: A Holocaust Story. She tells the harrowing tale of her in-laws, Sam and Esther Goldberg, who survived the Holocaust to ultimately settle in the United States. Sam survived the Treblinka Death Camp and met Esther, who was hiding in the forest, after he escaped during the
prisoner uprising. Karen takes her family back to Poland to retrace the events of their lives and meet the Righteous Gentiles that helped to save Sam and Esther. Come and hear from the author herself.
