In Hebrew Kadima means forward, or onward. Our action-packed middle school (6th – 8th grade) youth group meets monthly for social, spiritual and social action-based events. Whether our middle schoolers are participating in a social action project or hanging out with friends, they always have a good time all while preparing for leadership roles in the high school youth group, USY. Past events have included cooking and serving meals to homeless teens, Kadima Iron Chef, HNT and the Harry Potter Sleepover, and a whirlyball tournament. 6th and 7th Grade Kadima meet once a month for a pizza party and social hour in the Youth Lounge.
Kadima Membership is required for all regional events.
Our award-winning chapter of USY (United Synagogue Youth) is named Achim (Brothers). This co-ed high school (9th – 12th grade) youth group meets several times a month for events focusing on Israel, social action and current hot topics. USY Board Members plan and execute creative and engaging programs. Past events have included a Willy Wonka inspired sleepover, “Battle of the Sexes” Shabbat Service and Dinner, Israeli Kibbutz simulation, and an annual Chanukah party.
USY Membership is required for all regional events.
