Women’s League
Women’s League connects the women of our community with each other spiritually and socially.

Our Vision

Through education, service, and practice, Women’s League Sisterhood of Herzl-Ner Tamid will do our best work for our synagogue to maintain our Jewish traditions, Jewish education, heritage, and values now and for future generations while balancing health, family, work, and community.

Our Mission

To connect the women of Herzl-Ner Tamid as they work, learn, and grow together through Jewish programs, worship, and fundraising to strengthen and perpetuate Jewish family, synagogue, and community life to realize the vision of Sisterhood.

Becoming a Women’s League Member supports Women’s League programming as well as youth programs in our synagogue and community. Women’s League Membership is not required to attend most Women’s League events.

The Women’s League Sisterhood of Herzl-Ner Tamid supports Herzl-Ner Tamid in many ways:

  • Sponsors scholarships for kids to attend Jewish Summer Camps
  • Provides congratulatory gifts for all Bar / Bat Mitzvah kids
  • Annual Hamentashen baking for the Purim Shpiel
  • Programs and events throughout the year for the women of the Synagogue
  • Manages the Judaica Gift Shop
  • Torah Fund annual event to fund scholarships at the Jewish Theological Seminary
  • Affiliation with Women’s League of Conservative Judaism – wlcj.org, the voice of Conservative Judaism on the world stage
