Accessing Virtual High Holidays
This year’s Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services will be available via YouTube Livestream. This new broadcast platform better enables all to have a meaningful home experience, without the need for a microphone or webcam.
Choose one of the options below to access services at the times listed in the Guide to the High Holidays (note that the livestream will begin 15 minutes before the listed start time for each service, giving you time to test your connection):
In your web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer) – from a computer, tablet, or mobile device:
- Visit h-nt.org/youtube, or
- Visit h-nt.org and click the High Holiday Livestream Video banner at the top of the page
Then click the LIVE video with the upcoming service name
In the YouTube app – from a tablet, mobile device, or Smart TV:
- Make sure you are signed into your YouTube account in advance
- Search for the Herzl-Ner Tamid channel
- Select the LIVE video with the upcoming service name
All other High Holiday services will be available via
Zoom, at https://zoom.us/j/814064429.
Memorial Book
At each Yizkor service we distribute our annual Memorial Book, inscribed with names of our loved ones no longer among the living. Due to COVID-19, this year’s Memorial Book is available online to all here. If you did not request a print copy already, but would still like one, there will be limited copies available at the HNT main entrance for you to take.
