B’Yachad Parent Learning for parents of 6th & 7th graders

Getting Unstuck: Making Jewish Practice and Liturgy Meaningful and Relevant, taught by Eliyahu Krigel Spiritual growth can be measured by how we behave with others. Are we behaving with greater love, kindness, and patience? Are moments of jealously stemming from a lack of awareness? Do we realize that not only I, but every human being, is created Btzelem Eloheim, in the image of God? How does this awareness affect behavior? These sessions provide the venue for taking steps to become a more loving, patient, and giving human being. Emphasis is placed on becoming a b’nai mitzvah and we will explore the liturgy covered during this rite of passage. We will spend ti me highlighting the unique gift s of our parents or congregants in the community during our parent porthole segment.
