This year’s High Holiday services will look a little different from others; although things will be virtual, we do not want to leave out a key HNT tradition: the end of Yom Kippur Flashlight Parade!
We would like families to create a short video of themselves that we will use to produce a “virtual parade” which will be shown at the end of Yom Kippur.
Here is how you can participate:
- Create a short video (no more than 10-15 seconds) of kids holding a flashlight, a Havdalah candle or some other light source walking around the house, down the stairs, or some other part of your home.
- You can use your phone to create the video (please record landscape – turn your phone to the side)
- If you can, create the video in the dark (or as dark as will still show the kids) with the light shining.
- Email the video to Audrey Covner: audcov@msn.com no later than September 15
