Join us for this special conversation with Yossi Klein Halevi and Roots activists. Israeli author Yossi Klein Halevi’s book “Letters to my Palestinian Neighbor” was intended to explain the Jewish attachment to Israel to his Palestinian neighbors. The book was translated into Arabic and was downloaded by thousands of Arab speakers, and hundreds of Palestinians wrote him in response. Halevi will discuss how the book became an outreach project and what he’s learned about the conflict.
Roots/Shorashim/Judur is an organization founded in 2014 by Israelis and Palestinians in the West Bank whose mission is to promote understanding and dialogue between both sides. Their programs engage adults, teenagers, and children.
