On Wednesday mornings after minyan, Rav Barry teaches for about half an hour on subjects relating to Conservative interpretations of Jewish law. This week, Rav Barry’s topic will be “Do Converts Have to use the Name ’So and So son/daughter of Abraham and Sarah?’” This is a teshuvah (Jewish legal opinion) authored by Rav Barry that was approved by the Conservative Movement’s Committee on Jewish Law and Standards.
