Winter Clothing Drive-By for Leschi Elementary & ROOTS Shelter

Leschi Elementary School (K-5th) has 80 homeless children in need. ROOTS (Rising Out Of The Shadows) is a shelter for young adults, many of whom have aged out of the foster system. Help us give these kids and young adults clothing to keep them warm this winter:
- New socks
- New gloves
- New scarves
- New or nearly new winter coats
Please bring donations in your trunk on December 11 or 13 and volunteers will unload and leave a Chanukah treat in your trunk, or drop off earlier that week in the red bins outside the foyer. Thank you for pre-bagging donations by child vs. adult sizes.
If you’d like to make a monetary donation, please do so by December 1 – designating Social Action Coat Drive – and Janet Gray will shop for you!
