Sephardic communities from throughout Southern Europe and North Africa were nearly eradicated and forever changed due to the brutality of the Nazis and their collaborators. We pay tribute to their experiences by welcoming diverse voices to amplify victims’ stories, honor the legacy of those who perished, and stand together as one Jewish community. Featuring a keynote address by Dr. Aomar Boum, Associate Professor & Vice Chair of Undergraduate Studies, UCLA Department of Anthropology.
